This is a fantastic watch. You divers out there know the double crown screw in is the most reliable. This watch has it and if you don't dive, you'll love it anyway. It looks awesome at night. Although if you are a military operative who conducts night ops, keep in mind this thing glows like none other and you may want to modify the band to cover the face of the watch. It is that bright. The sapphire crystal is tough and scratch resistant, I have already scraped it a few times without a scratch. I would recommend this watch to anyone who desires a good-looking quality timepiece. Best military watch I've ever owned.
This is for anyone who doesn't want to worry about their watch when they go boating, fishing or swimming. Sure, it is a dive watch, but if you scuba dive you already know what to look for, a gasketed screw-down crown. A lot of the less expensive Luminox watches do not have this feature, they rely on a "double gasket" to protect the watch from water. If you really plan on wearing a watch in the water, buy one with a screw-down crown. The Luminox illumination is on all three hands and every hour mark. It looks awesome in the dark. A word of caution, this watch is big, small wrists need not apply. Highly recommended.
